Is managerial accounting and cost accounting the same?
I’m trying to get a head start on my managerial accounting class, and my brother gave me a cost accounting book telling me it’s the same thing. I’m not sure if there are things in managerial accounting that I won’t learn in cost accounting, and I was thinking about buying a guideline for managerial accounting that I heard was pretty good. Any suggestions? I don’t want to be studying the wrong thing all of winter break. Thanks!
