I need a software for our university to manage fee details of colleges affiliated to us. Tried MS office accounting 2009 and need more customization. pls let me know is there anything existing.

I am a recent college graduate and most positions ask that you know some particular software. Unfortunately, I have not used any accounting software. If anyone know of a free site I could download software or learn software please inform me.
